The book Light Beyond Light was published together with the exhibition Light Beyond Light. The book presents the most recent works of Melek Mazici and includes Harri Saukkomaa’s, Harri Mäcklin’s and Eero Ojanen’s characterisations of Mazici’s art and her as an artist. The translations in the book are created by Richard Powell.
The book presents more works than the exhibition did, but the ambiance is the same – like in the exhibition, on the pages the viewer can pause to explore the light emanating from the pictures and sense the tranquility created by the abundant use of empty space.
